Rap star 50 Cent is set to release a series of "street" books featuring characters based on some formers members of his G-Unit group.
This new venture will explore themes from 50 Cent's songs and includes a series of fictional novellas and graphic novels. The rapper will team up with MTV and Pocket Books and the first book is due to be released in 2007.
"These tales will tell the truth about The Life; the sex, guns and cash; the brutal highs and short lives of the players on the streets," stated MTV and Pocket Books.
50 Cent added that the books will feature episodes about G-Unit members such as Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck.
