Pop singer Mariah Carey was reportedly devastated after a thief stole one of her gold records from her dressing room, just minutes after the singer received it.
The gold record was presented to Mariah in Munich, Germany, during a ceremony in which the singer also collected a Bambi award to celebrate her status as the world's most successful pop star.
The record in question marked the 100,000 copies of Carey's latest album "The Emancipation of Mimi," which were sold in Germany.
Mariah Carey is one of the most successful and best-selling artists of the decade, according to Billboard magazine.
Although she had some break-downs during the past few years, in 2005 Carey returned to the forefront of R&B music with her multi-platinum album "The Emancipation of Mimi", which spawned her sixteenth number-one single, "We Belong Together".
