Jessica Simpson To Divorce From Lachey With Jennifer Aniston's Lawyer

Simpson Contacted Attorney Robert Kaufman

Singer and newly actress Jessica Simpson decided to hire Jennifer Aniston's lawyer to help her divorce from her husband, singer Nick Lachey, because she admires him for how civilized he handled the Aniston- Brad Pitt divorce.

Jessica, 26, who announced three weeks ago that she decided to split from Lachey because of his infidelities outside the marriage, contacted the high-powered divorce attorney Robert Kaufman, according to Us Weekly magazine.

Simpson's spokesperson refused to comment the news, but a close friend of the Hollywood beauty says: "Jennifer handled her divorce with Brad like a lady, in a non-sleazy way, and Jessica wants to do the same."

Meanwhile, Simpson made her first appearance at the VH1's Big In '05 Awards since the announced made by her publicist that she and her husband Lachey split up, after three years of marriage.

According to reports, Simpson, 26, didn't stay much on the red carpet for pictures, a source saying that it took her only 2 minutes to walk to the entrance and pose only for few minutes.
