Kate Moss Signs Contract With Virgin Mobile

James Kydd: "Kate Moss is an icon."

Supermodel Kate Moss signed another contract, after she checked out from the Arizona rehabilitation centre, where she treated her cocaine addiction. Moss will become the spokesperson from for Virgin Mobile and will star in a British TV ad about the company.

The supermodel, 31, will make fun of her and other celebrities which fell out of grace, in the cell-phone commercial, scheduled to be broadcasted on TV on Christmas Eve.

"Kate Moss is an icon," said James Kydd, brand director of Virgin Mobile. "We are thrilled that she has agreed to appear in our latest commercial. In return, the least we can do is make it really funny."

During the past few days Moss has signed a couple of new contracts and is holding some of her old ones including Yves Saint Laurent's Opium perfume.

Since she left rehab, Kate appeared on the cover of the 2006 Pirelli calendar and shot an advertising campaign for Italian designer Roberto Cavalli.

Rimmel cosmetics still uses Kate as their representative while Burberry, which cancelled a campaign featuring Moss, is reconsidering signing a deal with the model.
