Capcom Announces Lost Planet for Xbox 360

The Sci-Fi Action Shooter will hit the shops next winter

Capcom today announced they are working on a sci-fi action shooter for the new Microsoft Xbox 360 console.

"Lost Planet" is set on a hostile, frozen planet where humans struggle for survival against indigenous creatures and invading "monstrous beings".

Capcom's game will have a single player campaign and several multiplayer modes, where players will fight on detailed snow fields and deserted cities.

Lost Planet will be released next winter and will attempt to take full advantage of Xbox 360's high specs with advanced light sourcing and huge world maps.

The game will allow players to jump in and out of heavily armed vehicles and will present a very artistic environment, or that's what the producers promise. On the team of developers, Capcom got the creators of Onimusha and Devil May Cry creators to create Lost Planet.
