No Coming Back: Jessica Simpson Filed For Divorce!

The Romance Is Over For The Famous Couple.

"Newlyweds" star Jessica Simpson filed for divorce from her husband Nick Lacey just weeks after the couple jointly announced their separation.

The blond babe cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce petition and asked the Superior Court not to grant Lacey spousal support. Nick and Jessica had no prenuptial agreement and according to California's law, Lacey is entitled to half of the couple's assets.

When they got married, Nick had more earning power. Now Jessica is the one worth millions, grossing $35 million dollars alone last year, and Nick might get half of the joint worth around $50 million, unless they reach a settlement.

Simpson and Nick officially announced their divorce on Nov 23, after months of denials and rumors, stating: "After three years of marriage, and careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways. This is the mutual decision of two people with an enormous amount of respect and admiration for each other. We hope that you respect our privacy during this difficult time."
