Lindsay Lohan Back In Hospital After A Massive Asthma Attack

Lohan publicist:” She's taking it easy now, she's resting comfortably.”

The "Herbie: Fully Loaded" star, Lindsay Lohan has been hospitalized after suffering a severe asthma attack on Monday. At the time of the attack, the teen actress was in Miami, Florida to celebrate New Year's Eve with her mother at the exclusive club Prive.

Lohan was quickly sent to a Miami hospital were she was treated and is expected to be released soon. Medics advised Lindsay to stay in hospital for a few days after discovering the attack had broken a blood vessel in her neck.

According to her publicist Leslie Sloane, the star is out of danger and ready to get back on set soon. Sloane says: "Lindsay is resting comfortably. She's OK. She starts work in about two weeks."

The publicist also added that Lindsay has suffered from asthma since childhood and she is well aware that Florida's high humidity may have contributed to her asthma attack.

"It's the first attack since I've known her," Leslie Sloane Zelnick said in a statement. "She's had attacks before, but not that many, and not recently. She's taking it easy now, she's resting comfortably. She's just tired and not feeling too good. It took a lot out of her."
