Nick Lachey Blames Jessica Simpson For Broken Marriage

Lachey: "Women argue in ways that aren't rational to men."

Singer Nick Lachey recently declared that the one to blame for their broken marriage is his wife, singer and newly actress Jessica Simpson, because of her "irrational" behavior.

Lachey, 32, confessed that he believes women and men are very different regarding their way to see the life and have very different thought processes. He says, "Women argue in ways that aren't rational to men."

The singer also said during an interview for Elle magazine that he already moved on and he's looking around for a new wife. Speaking about a hypothetical wife, the star said: "I'm all for 10 and under, but, of course, as you get older, that number becomes less realistic."

Lachey added: "I hope that she'll at least respect my music. If she didn't like it, I could live with that."

Jessica and Nick officially announced that they had split in November, after months of speculations.

Simpson filed for divorce on December 16, 2005, from her estranged husband of three years, Nick Lachey citing "irreconcilable differences."
