Scarlett Johansson Still Ashamed By Golden Globe Wardrobe Malfunction

Johansson said: "I kept saying: 'I want it to be tighter!'"

Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson recently confessed that she is still embarrassed by the last year Golden Globe wardrobe malfunction, when her tight dress gave up, forcing her to hide.

Johansson, 21, who was invited to the Golden Globe to present an award, wanted to look great on the red carpet and ignored designer Roland Mouret's to make his dress a little closer-fitting.

Johansson said: "I kept saying: 'I want it to be tighter!' And he replied: 'I'm telling you, you're not going to be able to sit down.'"

But, when she got into her car, the zip broke down and she had to fix the dress with a a needle and thread.

She added: "I presented my award and had to go straight home to be cut out of the dress. It was a disaster."

Her roles include Grace MacLean in "The Horse Whisperer"; Rebecca in "Ghost World"; Charlotte in "Lost in Translation"; Griet in "Girl with a Pearl Earring"; and Francesca in "The Perfect Score".

All of these performances garnered positive critical notice. She was nominated for two best actress awards at the Golden Globes in 2003, one for drama ("Girl with a Pearl Earring") and one for "Lost in Translation".

She was also nominated for best actress for both of those films at the BAFTAs, and won best actress for "Lost in Translation". Johansson is also the voice of Princess "Mindy in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie".

In July 2005, Johansson starred with Ewan McGregor in the Michael Bay-directed "The Island" and it was her debut as the female lead in a mainstream action film.
