The Star Was Photographed Covering Her Face.

Newly single star Jessica Simpson was spotted covering her black eye while slipping out of a restaurant.

The singer, who broke-up with her husband Nick Lachey a few weeks ago, was photographed living Los Angeles eatery Sushi Roku all dressed in black and covering her face so that her bruise on the face would not be seen.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper about Jessica: "She seemed to be hiding her face for some reason and when she got into her car, it looked like she had a huge black eye."

It seem that her supposal black eye is a recent bruise because, just two days ago, Jessica performed at People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles, dressed in a sexy red basque and looking fabulous.
