Oracle co-president Charles Philips:"We are ahead of schedule mostly because we are dealing with processes that we already understand. The applications in our portfolio are already the leading applications in the industries that they compete in."
Fusion Suite will be Oracle's replacement for the current Oracle, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft and Siebel Systems suites, allowing for better code being developed, and sweeped functionalities.
Thomas Kurian, senior vice president for Fusion middleware architecture:"From a technology point of view, the biggest part of enabling the Fusion applications was already done in the year 2005."
Oracle President Charles Phillips:"Oracle is halfway to Fusion. A year later, we're 50 percent done and that's the tough half. (We're) pretty proud of that." "This is just a new product; we do it all the time. We've done this before."
