Zach Braff Confirms Dating Mandy Moore

Sarah Chalke confessed: "They are the sweetest couple."

Hollywood star Zach Braff finally admitted during an interview on the red carpet, while attending this year's Golden Globe ceremony, that he is romantically involved with singer and actress Mandy Moore.

Braff, 30, who is best known for his role as Dr. John "J.D." Dorian in the NBC sitcom Scrubs, met Moore, 21, exactly one year ago, but both of them refused to go out in public together.

However, they were seen arriving together at a fundraising event for the Democratic Party prior to the November 2004 election.

He says, "Mandy is an amazing comedian and I don't think a lot of people have gotten the chance to see her do broad, physical comedy. It really gave her a chance to show off that side of her."

Meanwhile, Braff's co-star Sarah Chalke confessed: "They are the sweetest couple."

Braff has played the lead role in "Scrubs" since the show first aired in 2001. Zach has been nominated for two Golden Globes and an Emmy for his role as the offbeat doctor. The show is currently in its fifth season.

He also appeared in Woody Allen's "Manhattan Murder Mystery" and in productions of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" and "Macbeth" at New York City's Public Theater.

Braff wrote, directed, produced and starred in 2004's "Garden State". It was filmed in his home state of New Jersey, in various towns such as South Orange, Maplewood, and Tenafly. In February of 2005, he won the Grammy for "Best Compilation Soundtrack For A Motion Picture" for "Garden State", on which he served as the compilation producer.

He also started voice acting for the film "Chicken Little" and upcoming Video game Kingdom Hearts 2.
