Pete Doherty Remains In Police Arrest

The Judge told him: "I'm sorry if my order will affect your fans and people who go to your concerts."

Famous British rocker Pete Doherty, the frontman of Babyshambles, will remain in police custody, after being arrested for possession of drugs twice yesterday.

Just days after pleading guilty in court of possession of cocaine and heroine, the singer was arrested again for the same charges. The Babyshambles star was stopped last week by London police and arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of illicit drugs.

After the police officer revealed in court that they found a white wrap of powder in his pocket, Judge Stephen Dawson ruled that Pete will remain in custody until February 8 when the sentencing at Ealing Magistrates Court was scheduled.

He told him: "I'm sorry if my order will affect your fans and people who go to your concerts."

Doherty will miss the band's tour and all the other concert dates were cancelled.
