Jessica Simpson Faces Lawsuit

Simpson Is Sued For Copyright

Actress and newly singer Jessica Simpson faces a multi-million dollars lawsuit, after a woman filled a complaint against her, in which she claims Simpson her business partners have stolen her trademarked cosmetics brand.

The woman, named Mara Fox, claims that the beauty line launched by Jessica in 2004, named the Desert Beauty Deliciously Kissable Love Potion is a copy of her own range, the 'Love Potion', launched in 1989.

Simpson's business partners, the cosmetic giants Sephora and D'Lish are also name checked in the lawsuit.

Simpson, 25, who recently announced her divorce from her husband, singer Nick Lachey, after three years of marriage, is currently the face of a number of her own beauty products.

Meanwhile, according to rumors, Nick Lachey is desperate to patch up things with the estranged wife. According to a close friend of the couple Nick made a "last attempt to get his wife back," by trying to talk face to face to Jessica when she was in California.

But it seems that Simpson has no intention to rekindle the romance and she's more concerned about her acting career and possibly star on Broadway.
