Roger Moore Defends Daniel Craig, While The New Bond Can't Drive The 007's Car

Moore: "He's a hell of a good actor"

According to late reports, another former James Bond spy, actor Roger Moore, who played the famous 007 agent in seven movies, defended actor Daniel Craig, saying that the media critics should give him a chance.

"He's a hell of a good actor," said Moore, 78, referring to the last days' criticism from the media. "So why attack him?"

However, Craig doesn't seems to rise to the Bond's expectations, stunning the filming crew when he revealed that he cannot drive the famous secret agents hi-tech car. It appears that the British actor is only qualified to drive automatic transmission cars and he cannot drive the manual Aston Martin DB5.

According to the same sources, the shooting had to be stopped, so the star could learn how to drive the car, which had been specially shipped to the Bahamas set.

Yesterday, the last James Bond spy Pierce Brosnan also spoke into Craig's defense, after the media criticized him during the past days, for the shooting incident, when he received a punch in the face and broke with front teeth.

Brosnan said: "I think Daniel is a very fine actor. These are rocky waters and they're going to get him one way or another, but I think he will have the last laugh at the end of it."

Also yesterday, a group of angry fans launched a protest website, craignotbond.com, to boycott the replacement of Pierce Brosnan as James Bond star with British actor Daniel Craig, Associated Press reported.
