Britney Spears Puts Her Baby In Danger When She Drives

Spears was snapped driving with the baby strapped in the back seat -- but facing the wrong way.

When it comes driving with her son in her car, Britney Spears does it all wrong.

After causing a huge scandal by driving with her infant unsecured in her lap a few weeks ago, now the pregnant star was spotted driving in Malibu, California, with Sean Preston, in the back facing forward not back.

"The seat is facing the wrong way. We like it when the child's head is facing back," said California Highway Patrol spokesman Tom Marshall.

State law requires that "all children under the age of six or weighing less than 60lbs be in safety seats in the back seat of the car".

"In fact, there are only 10 [states] that require a child to be in a rear-facing car seat, and in two of those states it is not required if the infant is more than 20 lbs. Britney's son Sean weighs over 20 lbs," the spokeman added.
