Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to Sell Baby Pictures For Charity

"While we celebrate the joy of the birth of our daughter, we recognize that 2 million babies born ever year in the developing world die on the first day of their lives."

New parents, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, plan to sell photos of their newborn daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to anyone who may concern. All the profits the couple will gain from selling the picture will go to charity aiding African children.

"While we celebrate the joy of the birth of our daughter, we recognize that 2 million babies born ever year in the developing world die on the first day of their lives," Jolie and Pitt stated. "These children can be saved, but only if governments around the world make it a priority."

The couple already arranged a private photo shoot for Shiloh and all the pictures will be licensed to media around the globe through renowned photo agency Getty Images.

Jonathan Klein, Getty's CEO and cofounder, said in a release, "We are honored that the Jolie-Pitt family has recognized our long-term commitment to these critical issues, as well as our ability to use the power of imagery to make a difference in the lives of many."

A week ago, Jolie and Pitt celebrated their child's birth, little Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, by donating 315,000 dollars to help the kids in Namibia.

$15,000 went to a school and a community center in Swakopmund, Namibia, while the other $300,000 was used to purchase medical equipment for two state hospitals in Namibia.

"We want to contribute to Namibia and the people who have been so gracious to us at this time," Jolie and Pitt added.
