The camera, property of Jolie's brother, James Haven, included a memory stick with personal photos taken by the couple during their stay in Namibia. Among the stolen photos there was also a picture of little Shiloh Nouvel shower taken a few days after she was born.
The pictures were taken by Heaven during his visit to Namibia.At his return home Heaven brought the camera to a Best Buy outlet because it was broken. From there the camera was sent to Precision and got lost.
Apparently Westfield police accompanied by Secret Service officers found the stolen camera in William Keys home, a Precision employee, after some photos that were posted on the Interned were tracked to him. The camera remains in custody of Westfield police, though no arrests have been made yet.
A few days ago lawyers for Pitt and Jolie have taken legal action and warned media outlets not to publish the stolen photos.
In an e-mail from the law firm of Lavely & Singer, Yael E. Holtkamp claims that a "memory card containing a number of personal copyright protected photographs" have been offered for sale.
"The photos depict, among other things, private moments and images of our clients and/or their minor children, taken in Namibia, including images from a private baby shower," reads the e-mail from Yael E. Holtkamp from law firm of Lavely & Singer.
