Renault (Dacia) Logan Estate (Break), starting October

The pictures, taken in Germany, show that the Renault (Dacia) Logan Estate resembles the Logan Steppe concept, but is obviously a street-version, easy to produce and market at a competitive price.

A sneak-peak into the new Renault Logan break, officially due in October, have recently hit the www. The new Renault/Dacia Estate, the kombi version of Renault/Dacia Logan, will be named Renault Logan Estate, but will bear few similarities with the much anticipated Logan Steppe.

Because it was a stealth car, it wears covers in order not to show too much of its characteristics. The few things that show its origins in the Logan Steppe concept, are the backlights and the boot opening system.

It is still uncertain whether Renault / Logan will offer clients the option to mount two extra chairs. The engines will be the same as on the Logan, with an improved Diesel engine delivering 85bhp.

The starting price for a Renault (Dacia) Logan Estate will be 8,250 euro (France), providing 2 airbags, and ABS. In Romania, starting price will be around 6,850 euro, but without certain options.

Logan Estate will be presented at the Auto Show in Paris on October 1st, hitting dealers backyards by the end of October.

Rumor has it that the much anticipated 100bhp 1.6litre engine will be available by that time. Some even think that it might be possible for the engine to deliver some 105-107bhp at 5,800rpm, taking the Logan Estate to 100km/h in less than 10sec.
