Brittany Murphy Quits Future Wedding Plans

American actress Brittany Murphy recently ended her nine month engagement to Joe Macaluso.

The two met on the sets of "Little Black Book" in 2004, where Joe was in charge of lighting and electricity.

They decided engaging on last New Year's Eve.

Shortly after the event Brittany told People magazine:" It felt right. I love being in love."

Rumors about a possible break up appeared when Brittany was spotted at the Teen Choice Awards without the engagement ring.

When asked if things are going well with her Fiancé, Brittany replied:

"Everything is going wonderful, thank you. I'm just living every moment, you know, enjoying my day."

Anyway, Brittany admitted splitting, shortly.

Brittany's spokesperson declares People magazine that Brittany and Joe "amicably ended their engagement. They remain close friends and wish each other much happiness".

However the reason for the splitting remains unknown.

29-year-old Brittany was never married, this is the second time the actress quits future wedding plans. Her previous engagement to Jeff Kwatinetz lasted for nearly five months.
