Jane Fonda Thinks Lindsay Lohan Must Stop Partying

Jane Fonda recently expressed her strong approval on James G. Robinson's gesture of sending Lindsay Lohan a letter criticizing the young actress's behavior.

"I think every once in a while, a very, very young person who is burning both ends of the candle needs to have somebody say, 'You know, you're going to pay the piper, you better slow down.' So I think it was a good thing she got that letter," Jane Fonda told Access Hollywood.

The above mentioned letter signed by studio's CEO James G. Robinson outlines Lindsay's unprofessional behaviour: "You and your representatives have told us that your various late arrivals and absences from the set have been the result of illness; today we were told it was 'heat exhaustion'. We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called 'exhaustion'. You have acted like a spoiled child and in so doing have alienated many of your co-workers and endangered the quality of this picture."

According to Jane Fonda the "Mean Girl" is a talented actress, but needs to explore her potential, meaning partying must stop for a while.

"She's so young and she's so alone out there in the world in terms of structure and, you know, people to nurture her. And she's so talented."

"I just want to take her in my arms and hold her until she becomes grown-up," declared Jane.

Jane Fonda and Lindsay Lohan are both filming for "Georgia Rule", a production that is expected to be released in 2007.
