Cameron Diaz And Justin Timberlake Assaulted By Paparazzo

34-year-old Cameron Diaz claims she and her long-standing boyfriend were assaulted by a paparazzo on Wednesday, September 20.

According to police officials, the couple (Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake) was just returning from a visit to a friend in Hollywood, when a photographer stepped out of the bushes and tried taking snapshots.

The incident took place shortly after midnight.

Cameron Diaz reported the event to the police and is hoping that the paparazzo will be legally punished. The actress accuses the paparazzo of allegedly driving his car toward her.

"The photographer got into his car and drove towards Diaz and Timberlake, causing Diaz to jump out of the car's way," said April Harding, the police officer investigating the case.

No arrests were made so far and police officials avoided revealing the name of the paparazzo.

"The investigation is in its initial stages," April Harding added.

The sexy actress is being chased by paparazzi for years. In 2004, Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz were accused of harassing Saul Lazo, who was trying to photograph "Charlie's Angel" outside Chateau Marmont.
