Linda Evangelista Is A Mommy

Linda Evangelista welcomed her first child, a healthy baby boy, on Wednesday, October 11 2006.

The 41-year-old supermodel gave birth to her son at a hospital in New York City.

The gorgeous mother already picked a name for her baby: Augustin James Evangelista.

Linda Evangelista avoided revealing the name of her baby's father, but there are rumors that Didier Fernandez, the supermodel's agent, is Augustin James Evangelista's father.

Didier Fernandez was left "speechless" by those claiming he is the father of Evangelista' newborn, and did not hesitate to respond by declaring that he isn't Augustin James' dad.

This summer, the famous supermodel confessed she has no reason being worried whether the pregnancy will affect her physical appearance.

"I'm not freaked out at all. I embrace it. I believe I'm doing everything to go through this as smoothly as possible. I'm either doing yoga or exercising every day," said Linda Evangelista.

The model also revealed that she is not planning to remain off the catwalk due to the birth of her son.

Linda Evangelista married Gerald Marie, the owner of a model agency, in 1987. The two divorced six years later, in 1993. She also used to date actor Kyle MacLachlan, with whom she was engaged for nearly four years.

The Canadian supermodel also had a relationship with French soccer player Fabian Barthez. The two were expecting a baby in 1999, but, unfortunately, Evangelista lost the pregnancy.
