Lance Armstrong and Matthew McConaughey Just "Buds"

Lance Armstrong and Matthew McConaughey were surprised to hear that photos showing them jogging topless together led the public to the conclusion that they are gay.

The two said they are not and will never be a couple and denied speculations saying that they are homosexuals.

The fact that both men have recently split-up with some very beautiful and famous women fueled rumors of a possible romantic relationship between the two.

Lance Armstrong has broken his engagement to country singer Sheryl Crow, while Matthew McConaughey ended his relationship to Latin actress Penelope Cruz.

Matthew McConaughey and his pal, Lance Armstrong, informed women that they are available for dating as the only thing they are developing is a simple friendship.

"We tried it. Wasn't for us," joked Matthew McConaughey in an interview to "Details" magazine.

"A lot of people don't understand friendship. I have a great friend. It's fun going out and living life and doing things at the drop of a hat. He just happens to be the most deliberate guy I've ever met," said Matthew McConaughey referring to his friendship to Lance Armstrong.

"We all have buds, we all take guy trips, but you take something very normal and you put it in a magazine, and people start talking," said Lance Armstrong.
