Lindsay Lohan: "Is it a crime to go … dancing with your friends?"

Actress Lindsay Lohan who was repeatedly called "Hollywood's wild child" revealed that her party girl image is bothering.

"I hate that!" told the "Mean Girl" while attending the popular television show hosted by Oprah Winfrey.

"I'm 20 years old. Is it a crime to go … dancing with your friends? I have a life and I have my family and I have work and I have those three things," stated the diva who was repeatedly spotted at Hollywood's glamorous parties.

Lindsay Lohan who has just completed the filming of "Bobby," a drama which tells the story of Senator Robert F. Kennedy's assassination, appeared on the "Oprah Winfrey Show" to promote the upcoming movie.

The "Freaky Friday" star also took the opportunity to say that media should criticize her as an actress and focus on her acting career, rather than personal life.

"No. I mean, I've been acting my whole life. And this is what I love to do. And I'm very lucky and blessed to be able to do that," said Lindsay.

"Bobby's" director, Emilio Estevez who accompanied Lindsay Lohan to the "Oprah Winfrey Show" praised the actress for her extraordinary work. Mr. Estevez disagrees with rumors claiming that Lindsay is always late on sets when filming is scheduled.

"The media likes to focus on (the negative) because it sells. And the fact of the matter is I'd rather have them focus on how extraordinary she is in this film and how dedicated and how passionate she is in this role. You see a young actress mature on film and you see her do, I think, the best work of her life," told Emilio Estevez to Oprah Winfrey.
