18 months since her cancer diagnosis, Kylie enchants her Australian fans in Sydney with a performance, which reopens her Showtime tour.
This is her first concert since May 2005. The singer, who has successfully completed chemotherapy treatment last year, made her stage comeback wearing a gorgeous pink-feathered dress.
"Good evening Sydney," Kylie welcomed spectators at the concert which took place at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on Saturday.
After completing her Australian tour which includes 20 concerts, Kylie is expected to perform in the UK, in January.
"I actually can't do the same things. I can't wear the same costumes. How can I do that a year-and-a-half later and feel that I'm meant to be replicating what that was, when I'm not the same person?," Kylie Minogue revealed Australian reporters who assisted at her perfume launch.
After her long struggle with cancer, the Australian singer hasn't lost her energy and is now more enthusiastic than ever to continue the Showtime tour.
"I'm thrilled to be back - I've been waiting for this day for such a long time. We've got our work cut out for us this week. We're on tour again," said Kylie at her arrival on Sydney International Airport, this week.
