Tom Cruise Invited Andrea Bocelli to Sing at His Wedding

Apparently Tom Cruise wants to give his bride-to-be Katie Holmes a true romantic wedding. And for that he invited famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli to perform at his wedding next weekend.

Bocelli answered Cruise's invitation, and told his friends that he is honored to sing at the ceremony, which is due to take place next weekend at the Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano, near Rome.

"They asked him to sing because Katie particularly likes Ave Maria. It will give the ceremony a Catholic religious element, which is important to her," a friend of Bocelli declared.

Tom Cruise is going to wed his beloved Katie in the 12th-century Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano, situated near Lake Bracciano, which is considered to be one of Europe's finest. The castle owns a private chapel and can host about 1,300 guests at a time.

The couple's spokesperson, Arnold Robinson, confirmed that the future bride will wear a splendid dress designed by Armani. The groom and the couple's relatives will also wear outfits designed by the famous Italian designer.
