Charity Concert to Mark 10 Years since Diana's Death

Prince William and Prince Harry are planning a huge charity concert next year as a tribute to their late mother, Diana, who died on August 31, 1997.

"We're considering a number of options on how best to commemorate next year. William and Harry will make a decision in due course," stated a spokesperson for Prince Charles.

The event is very likely to take place on July 1, which would have been Diana's 46th birthday. The concert is going to be held at the Wembley stadium, capable of hosting nearly 90,000 spectators.

Sir Elton John is expected to take part at this huge musical event and enchant the past princess' admirers with his melody "Candle in the Wind," written in memory of Diana and first sung at her funeral.

Other artists like George Michael, Kylie Minogue and Beyonce Knowles are very likely to appear on stage, at the concert which marks 10 years since the terrible accident that caused the death of Diana, the Princess of Wales.

The pop concert will probably be viewed by millions of people worldwide, as televisions are expected to broadcast this event, marking a decade since Lady Di, or Diana Frances Mountbatten-Windsor's death.

Funds raised with this huge pop concert in memory of Princess Diana will be donated to several charities supported by the princess.
