Kevin Costner Says No To Plastic Surgery

Oscar-wining actor Kevin Costner, once considered one of Hollywood's hottest stars, refuses to use plastic surgery to look younger.

"The Bodyguard" star thinks that all people should be happy with their own body and proud of their age and insists he will never choose to have cosmetic work done to change his ageing body.

"I am never going for a hairpiece, dye or nips and tucks. You will always have to take me as you find me," Costner says.

"We all have our vanity. We can all hear whispers. In my case, they still say: 'He's taller than I thought', but there will come the day when they will say: 'He is much older than I remember him.'"

Kevin Costner is best known for action hits like "The Untouchables" and "The Guardian" and colossal movies like "Waterworld" and "The Postman."

"I'm happy about the things I've done. Not always happy about the results, but happy about the decisions, because I made them myself. And I think that's an important way to go through life," he once said.

Costner has often produced his own films. He even won two Oscars as director and producer of the epic western "Dances With Wolves," his big success as a director.

During his career, he's films have grossed over $1.3 billion.

Two years in a row, in 1990 and 1991, Costner was voted as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world, an annual top created by People magazine.
