Heather Mills Fears for Her Life

Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife, Heather Mills revealed in an interview to BBC News she is terrified because of several death threats received over the past months.

38-year-old Heather Mills, who claims that she cannot afford proper security, confessed that she is living a real nightmare.

"We have had a few death threats, which were scary considering we have no security. We don't have any funding for that sort of protection. I've felt severely upset and severely depressed through these six months, but when I lost my leg I didn't," Heather told BBC.

Heather also denied rumors claiming that she has an affair with her personal trainer, Ben Amigoni. According to the former model, who became the target of life threats after splitting up with McCartney, Amigoni is just trying to protect her.

An activist for animal rights, Heather Mills said during her latest visit to the European Parliament in Brussels that fighting against the fur trade is not a way in which she tries to copy McCartney's first wife, Linda.

"It was definitely because I married my husband - nothing to do with Linda - I was sent this video of dogs and cats being skinned alive," commented Heather.

Heather Mills and Paul McCartney married in June 2002, after three years of dating. The two announced their divorce in May 2006 and are currently fighting over the custody of their two-year-old daughter Beatrice.
