Taking up the Challenge

Taking up the Challenge

Greater focus by the British media of the gross mis-selling of Payment Protection Insurance Policies on loans, mortgages and credit cards over the past decade, has certainly contributed to the tremendous surge in successful reclaims Challengeyour has experienced over the past 12 months.

While we endeavour to continually refine and streamline our processes, our current system is proving very effective in presenting compelling cases of mis-selling to the banks. What distinguishes Challengeyour.com is unrivalled customer service, typified by:

  • Providing consultancy and transparency on all aspects of the claim processes
  • Ensuring maximum efficiency with our reclaims by ensuring banks deliver on the deadlines they promise
  • Liasing with the Financial Ombudsman Service when a lender fails to meet the compensation sought
  • Referring the relevant claims to the Financial Compensation Scheme when a lender is no longer in a position to meet their financial responsibilities, namely because they have ceased trading

Challengeyour.com is very much looking to the future, galvanised by a combination of changes set to massively effect the Payment Protection Insurance Sector.

Firstly the creation of the Consumer Financial Education Body, will finally provide the much needed financial education and accessibility to relevant information, focusing consumers of the power they have and the range of choice at their disposal. Secondly, the Competition Commission have radically overhauled the selling of Payment Protection Insurance, demanding greater fairness and impartiality be given towards the buyer. Thirdly, some lenders may follow in the footsteps of the Lloyds Banking Group and the Metro bank and cease selling the product altogether.

A culmination of all the above in addition to the continued tough economic climate, will surely alert consumers to the reality that the policies they hold or have historically serviced, were inappropriate for their specific needs at the time of purchase and will be a signal for them to make a claim.
