Keith Urban Working On World Tour Now That He's Out Of Rehab

Urban now out of rehab, wants fans to know he is preparing a world tour for his new album.

Urban's troubled past issues with drug addiction and alcoholism are common knowledge, as he checked into a rehab center a couple of weeks before release of "Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing."

The country singer's representative (Paul Freundlich) let fans know that the Keith Urban's upcoming world tour will debut in April with performances throughout the UK and Germany, with Australia and the US visited in May and June, respectively.

Urban recently showed up with his wife Nicole Kidman at an LA party following the Golden Globe Awards.

In October 2006 (when entering the rehab center), Urban advised all people who lost control of their life and now face cruel addiction to "stay communicating with the people around them."

"Everybody gets overwhelmed at points, but it's when you think you can handle it yourself and you don't reach out for help, that is when the end is near," Urban declared for the December issue of Best Life, a men's magazine. "Recognize that you are about to tire, that drowning is looming."

"I've definitely been the drowning guy and in the midst of drowning thought: 'I wonder if I should put my hand up?' … I'm just really grateful to be present and doing what I can and if it overwhelms me I speak out and say: 'There is too much going on.'"

During the years Urban admitted having had to fight multiple addictions that included both alcohol and drugs. In the late 90's Urban battled cocaine addiction. Things got very serous in end-1998 and Urban became determined to give up the habit and checked into Cumberland Heights, a treatment center in Nashville.
