Jessica Simpson Devastated After Seeing Nick With Another Woman

In a recent interview for Elle magazine Jessica Simpson revealed that seeing her ex-husband, Nick Lachey out on town with another woman caused her extreme pain.

Apparently Simpson did not get over her divorce as soon as Lachey did, who was seen cuddling and kissing another woman just a few weeks after the couple's divorce was final.

Jessica was devastated when she saw with her own eyes Nick's new love partner, Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari. "Oh, it hurt me. Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I'd say it kind of hurt me," she told Elle magazine.

Simpson added that she and Nick have kept a close relationship since they got divorced and thinks that letting others see how her marriage was going through MTV reality series "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica" was not a good idea.

"I let people in on who I am and how I react to my husband. That's a big deal. Celebrities don't do that. So I think they (the media) brought me down just because I stopped talking and because I have not spoken - and will not speak - about my divorce. And I think people feel like I owe them my reality right now," she added.

Jessica and Nick wed in October 2002 in a private ceremony in Texas. They separated in November 2005 and filed for divorce the following month.
