Liz Hurley And Arun Nayar's Indian Wedding Ceremony

Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar will continue their wedding ceremony in Mumbay with several traditional ceremonies.

Hampshire-born Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar landed yesterday in Mumbai for six days of Indian wedding partying climaxing with a ceremony at a maharaja's palace.

The first half of the wedding took part at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, 200km west of London, and nuptuals in Winchcombe (Cotswolds). The Hurley-Nayar couple was blessed by many, among which Donatella Versace, Elle Macpherson, Kate Moss, Kate Winslet, and Sir Elton John.

The "haldi" ceremony was hosted by Adi Godrej's wife, Parmeshwar Godrej. Partying will continue at Umaid Bhavan Palace, the Maharaja of Jodphur's palace.

Mumbai's Hilton Towers Hotel will host the new couple and their guests while changing into Indian clothes (kurtas, turbans, saris and bindis).

Hurley's personal life involved just two other figures before Arun Nayar: a 14-year relationship with Hugh Grant which ended in 2001, being replaced by film producer Stephen Bing, with whom Hurley had a son (Damian Charles Hurley).

Arun Nayar is co-founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Direction Software Solutions, where he handles management and strategic direction. Arun Nayar holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics and a Masters degree in Physics. Arun is fluent in English, German and Italian.
