Jessica Simpson And Nick Lachey Broke-Up?

Late Rumors Reported Jessica Simpson And Nick Lachey Had Split, But The Couple Denies.

Jessica Simpson And Nick Lachey are desperately fighting late rumors that their marriage is over, after "The Duke Of Hazzard" star turned up solo and without her wedding ring to two recent events.

America's "US Weekly" issued a statement saying, "Nick and Jessica have not separated. Rumors to the contrary are simply not true."

In the past few months, media dogged Simpson and Lachey about the stability of their marriage. Magazines have been running photos of Simpson with and without her wedding ring and the couple's marriage has been at the centre of press' speculation.

"People" magazine senior editor Jess Cagle says, "I think we have to be very careful with Nick and Jessica because marriages are very organic things. The marriage is not over yet. What's happening in the marriage? I'm not sure. She's not wearing her ring. We know that."

"These are a young couple. They're both beautiful. They're both filthy rich. They're both very young. I think those circumstances on marriage is very, very tough. They are followed every week like a character in a soap opera, but they're not. They're real. And right now, they're still together."

Lachey, 31, and Simpson, 25, married three years ago on October 26, 2002 and during the summer of 2003, they both started in MTV's reality show "Newlyweds."
