Even More Xbox 360 Titles Announced

Microsoft, Take-Two, Activision, Electronic Arts and Blizzard Announced Some Of The Xbox 360 Titles

At the X05 gamefest in Amsterdam, video publishers revealed most of the lineup of titles set for release with Microsoft's Xbox 360 console.

Microsoft said it expects 15 to 20 games to be released for the North American launch of its Xbox 360 on November 22.

Xbox, second best sold console after Sony's PlayStation, officials promised to reveal the full list of games in the upcoming weeks.

Meanwhile, third-party game producers started signing up the rooster - such as Take-Two Interactive Software, which announced five games ready by Xbox's launch. The games they announced are "Amped 3", "NBA 2k6", "NHL 2k6", "Top Spin 2" and "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion".

Activision Inc. announced four games, "Call of Duty 2", "GUN", "Quake 4" and "Tony Hawk's American Wasteland"

Electronic Arts Inc, the world's biggest publisher also announced five titles: "FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup", "Madden NFL 06", "NBA Live 06", "Need For Speed: Most Wanted" and "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06".

Microsoft only confirmed a couple of titles such as "Kameo: Elements of Power" and "Perfect Dark Zero".

Blizzard's "Project Gotham Racing 3" should also be available by Xbox's launch, Microsoft said.

Microsoft hopes to ship at least 2 million Xbox 360 this year before Sony releases its Blu-ray powered PlayStation3.
