Tony Danza Slams Hollywood Couple Tom Cruise - Katie Holmes

"Here's a guy out there lecturing people about drugs, but out of wedlock births don't seem to bother him." Danza said

"Who's the Boss" actor Tony Danza slammed Hollywood couple Tom Cruise - Katie Holmes for bringing into the world an illegitimate baby.

Cruise, 41 and his fiancée, Holmes, 26, announced two days ago that they're expecting a baby, only after six months of dating. Danza, 54, criticized them, calling Cruise a hypocrite, because he preaches against psychiatry and immoral behaviour, but he's not distrurbed by the fact that he's bringing into this world an illegitimate baby.

The talk show host says: "I'm a little upset about this. Here's a guy out there lecturing people about drugs, but out of wedlock births don't seem to bother him. He's never (appearing on) my show, so it doesn't matter."

He adds: "I'm happy for them, but we're going to send them to MAURY (POVICH's show) for a DNA test.

Danza is probably best-known for his appearances in the TV sitcoms "Taxi" (1978-1983) and "Who's the Boss?" (1984-1992).

Danza also starred in the short-lived sitcoms "Hudson Street" (1995) and "The Tony Danza Show" (1997, not to be confused with his current talk show). He had a role on the TV drama "Family Law" from 2000 until 2002.

Tony was nominated for an Emmy Award for a guest-starring 1998 role in the TV series "The Practice". His movie debut was in the comedy "The Hollywood Knights" (1980), which was followed by "Going Ape!" (1981).

He received critical acclaim for his performance in the 1999 Broadway revival of the Eugene O'Neill play The Iceman Cometh.

Danza now hosts his own TV talk show, The Tony Danza Show.
