Tom Cruise Wants A Free Wedding Dress For Katie Holmes

Actor Tom Cruise, who is rumored to marry next month with his lover, actress Katie Holmes, wants a free wedding dress designed by Giorgio Armani.

Cruise, 41, one of the highest paid actors in the world, announced last week that he and his girlfriend Holmes are expecting a baby, five months after they got engaged in Paris, France.

The couple, due to this unexpected pregnancy, decided to have the weeding earlier as they planned. Regarding the wedding dress, Cruise talked with his good friend, Giorgio Armani to design it.

A friend told Britain's The Sun newspaper "Tom asked Giorgio to design the dress especially and he has had Katie in for several fittings."

"It's unusual for the groom to have a say in the dress but he has had a lot of input. It seems Tom has a very clear idea of what he wants for the ceremony".

Last week, it was rumored the couple will get married on a beach in Mexico, because Cruise doesn't want his baby born outside of marriage.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Tom's old fashioned. He wants his child to be born in wedlock. He's very romantic and wants everything to be in place before the birth".

"They both decided on the Ritz-Carlton in Cancun as soon as they got engaged and initially were planning on tying the knot around Christmas Katie didn't know that she was pregnant, so their arrangements suddenly had to be scrapped."
