The Couple Recent Trip To Italy For A Romantic Vacation.

According to late rumors pop star Jessica Simpson and her husband Nick Lachey recent trip to Italy in a last attempt to save their marriage.

Although Jessica and Nick maintain the fact that their marriage is still strong Lachey's friend and music manager, Lou Pearlman claims she heard the couple are struggling.

Pearlman told America's Star magazine, "Timmons says Nick told him, 'My marriage is shaky right now. I'm hoping this trip will turn things around."

"This trip could be a second honeymoon - or preparation for a divorce. I don't know what's going to happen, and Jessica doesn't know what's going to happen, but we're going to give it our best shot."

The couple, who is due to celebrate their third-year wedding anniversary next Wednesday, were the center of break-up speculations ever since Jessica appeared in public alone and without her wedding ring.
