Long Beach and Orange County airports closed because of bomb threats earlier today. They are both in the proximity of Los Angeles, about 50 miles away, each.
Both airports resumed their flight schedules after being scanned for bombs.
Bomb detection was performed by trained bomb-sniffing dogs.
The threat for Long Beach Airport was received at app. 3 AM but was "non-specific" and "non-credible."
