"Baywatch" babe, Pamela Anderson has decided to take her outspoken distaste about how people treat animals as far as she can.
The blond diva wrote a letter to carmakers in which she demands a animal-friendly version of a luxury Mercedes-Benz.
In the letter, released by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), Anderson is quoted as saying: "Animals used for their skin suffer from confinement, fear, painful mutilations, deprivation of all that is natural and important to them, and cruel treatment during transport and slaughter," she wrote to executives at Daimler-Chrysler.
"I want no part of that, but I would like a Mercedes. May I ask that you please make all Benz models available without animal skin? Nowadays, people see leather less as a luxury and more as smelly, dead skin,." She added in the letter for executives of Daimler-Chrysler.
Mercedes-Benz replied by saying that, in the near future, all their car models will be available with an entirely leather-free options.
